It is that time again! Tuesday, November 8th is Election Day, and everyone should make their voice heard! For many North Georgia counties, early voting has already begun. Go to https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/ and plug in your information to get details on times and locations for early voting or election day. A sample ballot is also available so that voters can make informed decisions. The Georgia Governor, and one of Georgia’s two U.S. Senators are two of the more notable elected officials up for election this year. However, we believe that every position is important! Do your research and cast your vote.

Cobb County Hosts the Fall Classic

There is a chill in the air, and Braves Country is buzzing with excitement. For the first time since October 24th, 1999, Atlanta is hosting a World Series. There is something special about autumn in Georgia, and it feels like the Fall Classic is finally home. America’s pass time spans three seasons, and many fans in this city among the trees would agree that fall is the best of them all. So here we go… for the first time in history the World Series will take place on Cobb county soil. A tied series and a world class facility lend themselves to one of the greatest events of the year. Locals and travelers alike are pouring into The Battery and newly named Truist Park to show their support for the Braves. Put on your hoody or your costume and grab a Braves cap. It’s time to play ball in Georgia!

The Nation Eyes the Corridor

National companies moving east from California and Texas are leaving their mark on the Corridor. Amazon has already begun to build multiple facilities in the Atlanta area, including the pictured warehouse on 3rd Army Road just inside Bartow county. Though our quiet landscape will change as these new businesses move in, this will provide an economic boost to the small communities of the Corridor. Highway improvements and additional residential communities are expected to multiply over the next five years, paving the way for more small businesses to make their claim in this newfound North Georgia.
