Dallas, GA. The outpost of the corridor.

In Downtown Dallas, old walls are telling new stories.

North Paulding County consists primarily of Dallas, but includes some of Acworth as well. In 2007, North Paulding County was one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. This was just months before the national housing crisis occurred and changed the economic and physical landscape forever. At this time, it seemed that houses were springing up out of the ground, as much of the South had their eyes set on the north west corridor. Developers and builders were clearing acres upon acres to build new communities, shopping centers, and schools.

When the market crashed, the beautiful country side was covered in what we now call PVC Farms. Partially developed communities with paved roads and exposed PVC pipes were everywhere. It was like this for years, until finally, a booming recovery! By 2018, the area was growing again and many developers bought the old communities and began reconstruction!

Once again, Dallas, GA has made its place on the map.
